Ludwig Roesch is an Austrian artist (Vienna 1865-1936). He studied in Vienna and lived and worked 1887-1907 in England, France, Spain and Switzerland.

Roesch worked in oils, watercolours, charcoal and guache. Beside this he produced a significant number of drawings and lithographs. He won many prestigious awards.

Roesch knew how to depict the mood or atmosphere of a time, scene or location. His work is sought after internationally.
